About the Publisher

The Faculty of Vocational and Technical Education was established in 1963 by the Michigan State University and Ford Foundation with the core mandate of preparing teachers for equipping youths with technical, vocational and entrepreneurial skills. The Faculty is the first of its kind in sub-Saharan Africa with large human capital and huge potential for equipping youths with the skills required to propel industrial growth and bridge the gap between skills students are acquiring in schools and skills industries need. The Faculty has five departments namely: Agricultural Education, Business Education, Computer and Robotics Education, Home Economics and Hospitality Management Education, Industrial and Technical Education, and Vocational Entrepreneurship Education.
